RAHANA Prisoners’ Rights Unit – The blogger and rights activist, Ali Kalayi, was released today after posting $50,000 bail. Kalayi was arrested on February 7th, 2010.
Kalayi was arrested for allegedly publishing a statement issued by the army in support of Iranian people. The bail ruling had been issued a few days ago, but until today the court had refused to let the bail be posted.
