RAHANA Civil Rights Unit – Noghrehkar was told over told over the phone that he has to be present at Evin prison on Monday morning.
According to Kalame website, Noghrehkar who is a jurist worked until recently at the Justice Department as the head of public relations. He was fired a few weeks ago for his kinship to Rahnavard and Mousavi. Noghrehkar is the second family member of Rahnavard to be targeted by the authorities. Previously, Rahnavard’s brother, Shapoor Kazemi was arrested and detained for 5 months before being released on bail. Kazemi was later sentenced to 1 year in prison. He was arrested a second time after Ashura and was held for 2 weeks.
It is not clear yet if Nighrehkar’s summon will result in his arrest.
