RAHANA Prisoners’ Rights unit – Somayeh Momeni was arrested at 3 am at her home by agent from the Intelligence Ministry. There is no word on her whereabouts.
According to a report by CHRR, in the days leading to the 1979 revolution anniversary a new wave of arrests of journalists and activists has started.
Also arrested today is Mahsa Jazini who is the Isfahan correspondent for Iran daily. Jazini is a women’s rights activist and a member of the 1 Million Signatures Campaign.
