RAHANA Prisoners’ Rights Unit – Ahmad Aminian has announced that his wife, Bahareh Hedayt, has only contacted him once since her arrest.
Ahmadian told Neday Sabz Azadi website that Bahareh has only called once shortly after her arrest to say she was being held in ward 209 of Evin. The call lasted only a few seconds and the family has not heard from her ever since.
Bahareh Hedayat and the other detained members of Advar Tahkim Vahdat Organization are under pressure to announce the dissolution of the organization on national TV. This has led to worries among their families and the public.
In other news, Koohyar Gudarzi, Shiva Nazar Ahari, Mehrdad Rahimi and Parisa Kakayi, the detained members of the CHRR, were able to visit with their families at Evin Prison.
Morteza Samyari is another detained student who was allowed to visit with his family. Samyari was put on trial during the 3rd session of the Ashura detainees trials. According to his family, Samyari was not in good emotional state and was crying nonstop during the visit.
